Dear John,
It's been a long time that I wanted to write you a letter, however, I was excessively busy during the past month. I hope that you are settling in Montreal fine and there are news I wish to share. I too am moving there and I was wondering if you can give me some advice.
The main inquiry for me is regarding the accommodation. The most important factors for me are closeness to city-center and affordability. I would appreciate your inputs and suggestions since I haven't been to Montreal ever.
A simple flat in an apartment would suffice due to the fact that I would rarely be home and more engaged in day-trips and work. Although I would not be home often, it is vital to me that the appliance are new and the flat to be clean and refurbished.
I planned to arrive a week earlier than required so that we can enjoy ourselves for a while before the first work day. I heard that there are wonderful amusements parks and zoos as well as a museum which has an exhibition on contemporary art and sculpture in fusion with Japanese culture and I am very keen to pay a visit there.
