Essay topics:

The diagram shows the stages and equipment used in cement making process and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes.

The images illustrate very different steps and materials essential in cement and concrete production.

The first impression is that there are multiple minor stages involved in the process of turning limestone into cement. On the other hand, there are only 4 ingredients required for people to create concrete except for the concrete mixer.

In particular, limestone and clay are put through distinguishing crushers that are placed next to each other to produce the powder. With the combined effect of mixer, rotating heater, and external heat, the previous powder becomes a well-mixed type of material that is continued to be ground into smooth cement by a grinder. The next step is to pack this newly ground cement into separate bags for convenience purposes. Furthermore, in the goal of making usable concrete for construction activities, water, gravel, and sand are all needed apart from cement. Gravel which means small stones accounts for the majority of concrete formula which is at 50% while only 15% of cement is used. The proportion of sand is more than twice as much as that of water which is 25% and 10% respectively.
