Essay topics: Nowadays,more people are choosing to socialise online rather than face to face. Is this a positive development?
In the salad days of millennium, social media become an irrefutable platform to raise voice for social causes. In present scenario, masses use online mode of communication to connect socially. In my opinion, it is a positive trend.
To set wheel in the motion by looking at why I believe, it is an added benefit to keep in touch with near and dear by e-communication mode. Firstly, in this fast paced world no one has enough time to meet with their friends but the current development of technology make it easy to connect with each other. In addition, this is an affordable mode of communication for those who are not able to travel to their loved one. Finally, social media transform whole world into a small village in which everyone can communicate with their family and friends without much care about distance. For an instance, people often use social media to show their love, affection and also raise some issue for society welfare. Consequently, online communication bring world closer, where every one communicate easily.
Turning to the other side of argument, some people think that face to face is the best mode of socialization because during in person meeting gestures play a significant role to express thoughts. Moreover, facial expression and body language represent the real concern in the mean time.For an example, on social media people often get notification about someones birthday and they just send a template message and do not care to wish them personally, since if a person wish his dearest by visiting in person it value a lot for him.
In conclusion, although online mode of communication has few issue which need to discuss, I believe that advantages of social communication via online mode in terms of time-saving and affordability eventually outweigh any negatives.
