In the future, students may have the choice of studying at home by using technology such as computers or television of studying at traditional schools. What would you prefer?
Technology is increasingly playing a crucial part in the learning process of students around the global, resulting in a trend in which students choose to study at home by the utilization of technology. However, to my view, I still believe that only traditional schools can provide the best learning environment for children and youngsters.
To commence with, it is scientifically proven that direct human interaction can lead to a higher positive education outcome. Students will definitely have a deeper understanding about the subjects when they have to focus more on the lecture. The presence of the teacher and all the disciplines in the class makes it impossible for students to be easily distracted and do something else, which is totally in contrast with using the computer to study at home. Furthermore, students not only have a good command of knowledge but also are equipped with integral skills by means of direct communication which includes discussion with teachers and friends, debate, doing presentation, and team work. This will provide every students with chances to learn actively, express themselves and compete with their peers, which undoubtedly makes them more eager to learn and achieve the best results.
In addition to that, conventional schools undeniably play the most pivotal part in the comprehensive development of children and adolescents. Initially, physical activities consisting of both formal physical education lessons and extra- curricular activities are a guarantee for a healthy young generation of the country. Reasonable timetable at schools will reduce the stress, pressure from academic learning and the possibility of suffering from diseases of students thanks to physical movements. Moreover, personality development of students is only promoted by the thorough guide of teachers. It is critically vital for students to learn to become a good citizen with standardized morality before they acquire knowledge and skills. Teachers will be the ones who instill in students positive social ethics, teach them to avoid social evils and lead them to the right path.
Last but not least, traditional school is an ideal environment to develop students’ talent. By means of a lot of extra-curricular activities along with academic competitions, students will find it easier for them to find out their hidden potential which can not be awaken by the technology. Besides, it is the teachers who will inspire students, motivate them, give them the motives to achieve incredible feats. This is highly likely make students feel empowered and more motivated to study and pursue their dreams.
To sum up, I wholeheartedly believe that only going to schools, can students receive the best education.
