Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

At universities and colleges, sports and social activities are just as important as classes and libraries and should receive equal financial support.

Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Recently, universities started to give value to sports and social activities and by doing this they tend to spend more amount of their annual budget to facilitate programs involving them. Despite some disagreements through the idea, I personally prefer to send my children to a school
which evaluate both social and academic sides of the life equally.
There was a recent done by Japanese scholarship which shows the student who play sports for one hour per day do better at their school projects and studies. On this research, they recruited thirty students to form a typical high school and ask half of them to do daily sports, while the other half just focused their daily schedule on studies. results on the first exam by the end of the month illustrated a significant
increment on the grades on the first group.
my other discussion toward the issue is about the relation between social activities and the tendency toward being a more successful person in your future. Might not be an accurate quotation but; "If I have my last penny I would prefer to expand my communications with this, " Bill Gates, one of the true living legends in our century said.
communications and social activities are not only a gate through better life in the future, but also, they are the means to study and learn better. Take the situation when you have to go to school every day while you have nothing to do except studying; then why don't you stay home and study by yourself.
Schools are the places where educated us in every possible aspect of life and that being said, included more than mathematics and physics. A person who can not communicate well is nothing but the living reference book, lots of people might believe.
Concluding these, in the twenty-first century with the facilitation of the network usage just learning formulas are not enough and having the ability to communicate with other people is the true way to gain updated data and being part of the frontier people in the world.
Lastly, most of the students themselves, would prefer sports and social activities more than other academical school subjects and having the opportunity to spend their times at school on these activities might bring them the likability toward schools.
To sum up, universities and colleges having these activities are even more popular within students and these activities will help students with not only with their studies but also will help them to be a better person and have the tendency to join on more school activities, and these are my main reason to agree with the statement.
