as fellow students or co-workers—than from those at a higher

level, such as teachers or supervisors

Some people state that we learn better from those at higher levels than we are in. However, this is not always the case. There are many instances in which our fellow counterparts help us to learn better than the ones who are in higher position. I mention my reasons in the following three paragraphs.

Firstly, there are various talented people at our own level who understand and analyse a particular subject with ease and they grasp the content very quickly. Hence these people can always help others learn and do better. For example, students while undergoing education, most of them, learn better from their classmates than in the lecture classes. Hence they always engage themselves in group studies to clear their doubts. Obviously one may argue that why then people always come to attend classes in schools and colleges. However, to hear lectures from professors is not the only reason why people come to schools and colleges.

Secondly, people who are at our own level, are more understanding than those at higher levels. For example, if we are facing an issue in a class due to the way of teaching, a person who;s at our own level understands it better than the one’s at higher levels, as they generally expect you to be ready with the environment of the class and might not understand your problem better and hence cannot solve your problem so easily. On the other hand, the ones at our level might have faced the same situations before and this makes it easier for them to give a solution to our problem. Yes, some people might argue that there are professors who understand student’s problems. But in many cases it is not possible.

Lastly, it is generally difficult to concentrate on an individual for the higher ups due to their own busy schedule as well as the number of people under them. In most of the cases it’s impractical to obtain individual insights. But contrastingly, the ones at our own level can do this with ease and this is an important factor in learning better. As the number of students to engage with is lesser in this case. There is a possibility that some higher ups do concentrate on people individually, but it is highly impossible in many cases due to the size of the group.

---------------------
Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:

para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.

So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:

reasons == advantages or

reasons == disadvantages

for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.

or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
