Some people believe that interrupting and correcting a mistake right away would disturb both the classroom discipline and the teacher's plan. Nevertheless, in my opinion, this option would be the best one since, it shows passion and enthusiasm of listeners, makes an interaction between students and teacher, and avoids to make further errors.
Correcting the mistake right away is a sign of passion and enthusiasm of listener to the lecture. When a teacher or meeting leader see how students listen to his speech carefully, he receive a good feedback of his and a vibrant atmosphere will be creates. Teachers have more tendency to transfer their information to students because, they are listening eagerly.
In addition, immediate interruption and correction makes a positive interaction between teachers and students in which both the students and teachers are able to share their knowledge, experience and thoughts with each other. In other word, it may the class to become more dynamic and students have this chance to express themselves and make a discussion over something.
Moreover, by correcting mistakes immediately, we can avoid further errors. Sometimes, even an small mistake can causes a mass misunderstanding between students which may create a big problem for them in the future. Thus, immediate interruption is the best approach to prevent more mistakes in the future.
In conclusion, although many people believe that interruption and correction a mistake while the teacher is speaking may confuse him, I think that it would be the best approach, because it is a sign of passion and enthusiasm of listener about what the speaker is saying. Also, in this way a positive interaction will be made between teachers and students in order to share their information. Besides, the teacher will notice about his error and try to fix it right away.
