What are important qualities of a leader?
The 20th and 21th centuries are characterized by all the momentous changes which have been made in humans' life. Perhaps the most important milestone of these two centuries is characteristics which people in all around the globe possess. Bearing this fact in mind a question that is a matter of debate a controversial one is whether what traits leaders should have. Agreement is yet to be reached on this issue; however, to the extent my personal perspective is concerned, leaders should have specific characters that distinct them from ordinary people. In the following paragraph, I will pinpoint the most outstanding reasons.
One compelling reason, lending credence to the stance taken above is that trust and integrity are two of the most significant traits which leaders should have. Scientifically speaking, it’s the most required and admired quality of all people but especially for the effective leader. The willingness and ability to trust the people that you look up is absolutely essential to your ability to perform at your very best. For example, successful leader should lead a society in a way that not only can people trust him or her but also can develop their works and improve their skills. Delving further into the issue reveal that with trust and integrity you have nothing to fear since you have nothing to hide. Additionally, you will be able to do right things, so you will have no guilt. A noteworthy refreshingly intelligible statistic revealed by recent social research conducted in our country; show that vast majorities of people expect leaders to be trustworthy because leaders are people who can lead the society effectively.
Another reason that is equally important if not more is commitment. Broadly speaking, successful leaders always are diligent and proficient and most of the time try to gain respect. In fact, they bend over backwards to do everything which they had been promised or in other word, hardly ever they forget their words. To put it in other word, effective leader always make a commitment and make an effort to diminish trials and tribulations. However, what I allude to above cannot be overgeneralized to all contexts. Alongside with the innumerable benefits it has, indisputably, successful leader possess most significant qualities such as understanding or handle the situation maturely. Indeed, they always appreciate the problems of people and work hard to handle those difficulties. Nevertheless, it does not make those preceding benefits pale.
To wrap it up, successful leaders are known by their effective characteristics such as trustworthy or commitment. Contemplating all the aforementioned reasons one soon realize that being trustworthy is one of the most important traits which play a key role in success of leaders. In addition, effective leaders always make a commitment of their works and try to solve the problems efficiently.
