First of all, the reading claims that agnostides have been free swimming predators that hunted smaller animals.However, the lecture argues that agnostides were weak vision or totally blind so they were unable to swim.And maybe they had a special sensor to hunting animals.

In addition, the reading makes the arguments is that dwelled on the seafloor, and survived by scavenging dead organisms. The lecture counter this point by stating that agnostids had the ability to move fast and to far area, while the seafloor lived in localized area.

In conclusion, the reading argues that agnostids there is the possibility were parasites,living and feeding on larger organisms.The lecture refutes this claims by saying that parasites lived in certain limit area, and fed in whole organisms.
