Essay topics: TPO-45 - Integrated Writing Task

Any student of paleontology will be struck by the fact that a great many animals of the past were considerably larger than they are today. This holds true for species ranging from dinosaurs to most mammals. Just why they were so large calls for some explanation. A rough consensus has been reached on the following points.

The first is that the large size of the animals must be due to the early earth’s greater supply of oxygen. It is held by some reputable biologists that an oxygen-rich environment stimulates growth within a species and produces an array of large animal varieties.

A second point is that the abundant plant life on the early earth must have provided all species with plenty of nutrients. As biologists now know, adequate nutrition is vital for animals to fully grow. It is believed that this size increase gets genetically transmitted over generations. Thus, so long as the food supply remains adequate, animal species will tend to get bigger over time.

Finally, some researchers believe that the early earth’s warm climate tended to stimulate growth. Since the animals did not expend much energy to stay warm, the extra energy could be channeled into generating cells needed for larger bodies. Taking this view, the high oxygen levels, abundant food and warm weather all converged to produce animals of considerably larger dimensions than is the norm today.

The reading claims that the bees can't be preserved for 200- million-years like the argument of the fossil record in the Arizona in southwestern United States and give three reason for this argument. While, the lecturer on the other hand says that it is completely is possible the bees's record fossil be for 200 million years age, be rejecting of three reading claims.

The firts reason of the reading is that, there are not any record of the actual bees in the fossils, so it is not possible that the nest have been for bees. However, the lecturer claims that it is nor very crucial problem, becaise the bees must be protected by some spacial kind of the rezin which is prodused by some specific threes. So, it is so feasible that that spaciall kind of the tree did not appeare that time and apparantly the bees can not be preserved by any things, but it can't be the reason of impossiblitity.

The lecturer also is not convinced by the absence of flowering plantes for reason of impossibility. He says that before of the first flowring plants was appearing about 125 million years a go, the bees were appeared and they eat the other kind of the plants like punchery and after some year of the appearance of the flowering planets they use them as a step of their evolutionary process. So, this reason is not true either.

the last thing that the lecure claims is that the strucrures of the modern nests and ols kind of that. He says that in the oposit side of the reading claim, the structure of modern and old bee's colony have a same kind of the waterproofing material and it will be the cause af the possibility of the 200 million years bees are existd on the earth.

conclusively, it can be said that the bees have been existed on the plane for long time and the fossil records are incredibly important and reasonable.
