Hydrogen based fuel cell engines have advantages over internal combustion engines.
The reading and listening both about the hydrogen based fuel cell engine and internal combustion engines. The author states that, Hydrogen based fuel cell engines have advantages over internal combustion engines and give three reasons of support. However, the lecturer supposes that, there are many disadvantage of fuel cell engine too and refutes each of author points.
First, the passage posits that, internal combustion engine depends on petroleum like gasoline or diesel fuel and these are finite resource. Because of limited source, we can't use them for a long time. The lecturer contradicts this point by explaining that, Hydrogen is not easily available and we can't use this directly from water. It is very hard to produce pure liquid Hydrogen.
Second, the reading expresses that, hydrogen based fuel solve the problems of pollution. Although, the lecture claims that, the process of produce Hydrogen and purification Hydrogen need burning coil or oil. And the company who produce the hydrogen and burning coil or oil are causes of the pollution.
Third, the reading implies that, it saves money too. Nevertheless, the writer indicates that, hydrogen based engine need platum metal and the it is very expensive metal.
