rococo architects impact on nineteenth century
The lecture and the reading both discuss whether or not the rococo painting style tautening in the nineteenth century. While the reading states that although the Rococo art was significant till the eighteenth century, it becomes less popular in the following century. The lecture refutes this, saying that the reading clime is misinterpreting and pointing out one way.
First of all, the reading claims that the rococo art lost the reputation because of their arrogance. However, the professor argues that even though there has been a long criticism of rococo architecture, they are also working for the general community instead of working only for wealthy people. Furthermore, the professor states that they decorated the churches and public parks.
in addition, the reading makes the argument that they limited their work general matters such as lover in picnic and playing games rather giving a valuable message to the society. the lecture counters this point by stating that it is a misinterpretation. According to the professor, their architecture was responsible for communities because they designed the public parks and historical building to patriate the history.
lastly, the reading avers that their designs were the most expensive because they spend a lot of money to develop create colors. Thre professor oppose this claim by pointing they are innovators because they use to experiment with colors to create new designs
