School Uniforms
The author calims that professors, students see school uniform as an excellent means of stress reduce and provides three reasons for this. However the states that she doesn’t agree with the the author reasons provided on the passage so she refutes each of the reasons.
First, the article states that the families of the students won’t have to spend as much money on buying their kids cloths as the would have to wear regular clothes in their schools. The professor opposes this point by stating that the uniforms are not free and sometimes it is required to purchase them in special store which have expensive price. He also metioned that students would need to purchase several uniform thought out their entire eduction. As a result students would not wear their uniform when they go out with their friend or on the weekend so still parents have to buy clothes to their kids.
Second, the reading states the school uniform eliminates the unnecessary distructions. The professor refutes this point by explain that everyone wear things that shows their good features. As a result students would be woundering how others look like and sometimes that would modify their uniform and make it the way they want.
Third, the article posites that wearing the same clothes in the school would develop the sense of community within school. However, the professor explains that wearing a school uniform doesn’t built community. He explains that it pushes students to suffocates from depression.
