sea otter decline

Essay topics:

sea otter decline

First of all, the author suggests that the source of chemical pollution founded along the sea coast and infection may be caused by this, is the environmental reason for sea otter decline. This argument is challenged by the lecturer. She says that if the infection is the reason for the reduction of them, the rate of declining should be more than this. Also, there aren't any sea otter body along the coast that implies predators are the reason for this reduction, cuz the sea otters are eaten by predators after hunting by them.

Secondly, the writer contends that reduction in other sea mammals numbers is the obvious emblem of the statement that environmental pollution is likely cause of this. Because pollution affects the whole ecosystem. The lecturer, on the other hand, rebuts this by asserting that orcas hunt sea otter and other sea mammals because the main hunt of them that are whales disappeared due to human activity.

Finally, it is stated in the article, uneven concentrations of pollution results in uneven decline patterns. the lecturer, however, posits this statement by mentioning that accessibility of sea otter residence to a predator is the reason for the uneven rate of decline.
