Both the passage and the lecture relate to team working process, which are considered as an efficient way in doing new projects by many organizations. On the one hand, the passage claims three reasons supporting the group working while the lecture refutes all these reasons by mentioning situations that are oppose with what the passage has predicted.
First of all, the passage states that the group reach creative solutions because all members of the group use their own skills and abilities to solve the problems. In contrast, the lecture opposes by saying that some members do not contribute in projects while others work hard. Therefore, when the projects do well the recognition will be as a whole.
In addition, the passage goes on to say that because all members of a group get in involved in projects they can reach to workable solutions as soon as possible. However, the lecture emphasizes that it takes too long and needs more meetings to reach a consensus when all members take part in making decision than one or two influencer.
Last but not least, the passage asserts that each member will have more chance to participate in group making decision due to get more rewards. Nevertheless, the lecture disputes this point by claiming that in some situation members of a group are ignored when they warn a group about a plan that it will not work well while the other members support it as a highly creative plan. If the plan failed, the blame would be placed on all members of a group.
