On the other hand, the speaker challenges this argument and says that along with the “Haversian canal”, dinosaurs also had growth rings in their bones which are basically present due to the bone thickening. The growth ring is seen in animals who do not grow consistently that is there is a period of slow or no growth in them along with a period of rapid growth but Endotherms do not have this growth rings as they grow consistently even when there is cold. Thus, it proves that dinosaurs were not endotherms.
