On the other hand, the professor explains that American companies have interests to receive this certificate and refutes all of the author's reasons.
First of all, the reading claims that the American consumers are exposed to enormous advertising, and other companies attract consumers by using the label. However, the professor refutes this point by saying that the consumers are cognizant. He states that consumers can distinguish between slogans and react about trustworthy companies, and independent agencies.
Second, the reading posits that the American consumers always buy the cheaper product and this products cant compete with cheaper prices. The professor says that all people care about price. According to the professor even though American customers care about cheap products but they pay attention to other factors, and if the difference of products is less than five percent they choose the better product. On the other hand, he explains, the American consumers care about their environment.
Third, the article says that the American companies pay attention to markets in foreign countries. The professor opposes this point by explaining about the policy of the companies is different, and they pay attention to foreign competitive more than just sending commodity to abroad countries.
