Recently there has been a tone of debate as to on of the work of Rambrandt. More specifically, in regards to this passage, the writer of passage puts forth on the idea that the painting may not be the work of Rambrandt. In the listening passage, the lecturer is quick to point out there are some serious flaws about the writer's claim. In fact, the lecturer thinks that the painting is one of the Rambrandt' work, and adresses, in detal the trouble with each point made by the author of the reading text.
First and foremost, the writer states that there is somthing inconsistent about how the woman dressed in the painting. Some professional in the same field, however, stand in firm opposition to this claim. In the listening passage, for example, the lecture believes that there is no abnormaly about the woman fur dress. she explains that the woman dress in not part of original painting and does not concern with the work of painter.
One group of scholars, represented by the author, assert that light and shadow in the painting do not fit togrther. Of course, not all experts in the same field think that this claim is accurate. Again, the lecturer explained that in the original painting everything is realistic and that part of the woman's face is removed from the original painting. she goes on by saying that the original work reflect the way he usually painted.
Finally, the author wraps his argument by positing that the painting is consisting of some parts which glued together. Not surprisingly the professor take issue with this claim by contending that the original painting is consisted from one part and actually that exact type of wood use for the other painting of painter.
To sum up, both author and lecturer hold conflicting idea about the painting. It is so vivid that they will have trouble finding common ground on this issue.
