TPO-40 - Integrated Writing Task

The reading and lecture both discuss the possibility of life on Venus' surface. While the reading provides three explanations that confirm that the life on Venus is impossible, the professor refutes, saying none of these claims are convincing.

Firstly, the reading avers that the pressure on Venus's surface is very high that could crush anything over there. On the other hand, the professor argues this notion by saying that we can make a station floating at the atmosphere like a ballon. Moreover, at fifty thousands colimeter height, the pressure will be low. Furthermore, the pressure will be equal to the pressure at Earth's surface. So, the tools will not be crushed by any pressure.

Secondly, the article states that there is no water or oxygen at Venous' surface. Also, the idea on importing the water to the Venous is not practical. However, the professor rejects this idea by pointing out that there is oxygen carbon dioxide and sulforic acid that we can use these combination to produce water. As a result, there is no need to import them to the Venous.

Lastly, th e reading mentions that there is a thick could that can prevent the sunlight to go through. So, it will be so hard to generate electricity to power the tools. Nevertheless, the professor contradicts this idea by explaining that that clouds at high level of atmosphere would not be thick. So, these cloud will allow the sunlight to go through . As a result, the sunlight will be reflected and they can get power to generate the station.
