First, the reading passage states that the government should posses a rules to prohibited the farmers form using dangerous pesticides near frog populations to keep them healthy. However, the professor refutes that solutions and says that the pesticides are very necessary for crops to maintain them from harmful insects and if pesticides are restricted that will lead to the lose of crops.
In addition, the reading passage posses that at the recent time researches have discovered many ways to prevent the dehydration effect of algae that harm the frogs skin by using anti-fungal medication or kill the algae with heat. But the professor opposes this point by claimed that such medications should be give to frogs individually and for the next generations and that is too cost.
Finally, the reading passage claimed that the frogs natural habits are threatened by human activities as the frogs lie their eggs into water of marches and wetlands and the human use the excessive water for draining the wetlands and it is better to protect lakes and marches from excessive water. But the professor refutes this point by explained that disappearing of wetlands natural habits will lead them to be evaporated and then global warming occurs and destroy all the frogs.
