Both the passage and the lecture are about solution which can useful too protect frog population from declining. The article mentions each solution proposed, however the speaker opposes all of them one after another. she thinks that solutions offered by the author won't be practical.
First of all, the auther mentions pesticides, and it is stated in the passage that if they were used, it would prevent the frog population's decreasing. it is described that spreading of these pesicides to farm sorrounding, used to prevent insects damaging farm crops and yeids, can attack nervous system of frogs which is so haphazard for them. it has some disadvantages which pointed out by the lecturer. she says utilizing of this approach can harm farmers by damaging crops, therefore it isn't economical fair and practical.
Second of all, the second solution proposed in the reading contracted by the speaker. she expresses there is some problems by this solution because it's require capturing each frogs individually, and it needs play again and again, at times, it is so expensive and complicated. that's how the lecturer ignores the second way of the reading.
Finally, the passage mentions that it would be efficient if using and developing of the significant water habitats sre restricted. Although, the speaker points out it isn't safe because of global warming. it causes many of this habitats to be low water or even extinct, therefore she rejects the last solution discussed in the reading.
