Some parents and teachers find cutting down physical classes over courses in art and music whenever schools go out of budget. In my opinion, it is not a good idea to cut down physical education classes rather the courses of music and art should be eliminated. I support this for two reasons.
Firstly, physical health is one of the most important factors in anyone’s life. Health is indeed wealth. Being healthy and fit since childhood will prevent various diseases. If a school insists more in music rather than physical exercises the child can never grow healthy. It affects the child both physically and mentally. For instance, a student who is not interested in physical health will be forced but it is very helpful for his long term healthy life and healthy habits.
Secondly, music is also a form of art and I do love listening to music. But I do not sing. Music cannot be everyone’s interest over physical education. The statistics also show that many young children are interested in physical classes and only a few of them have a keen interest in music and art. For example, a girl who does not want to learn music is forced to study music will never feel good or excited about it . Although he/she may not like physical exercises, it is always beneficial to have a healthy life.
Some of the schools might decide to cut physical education classes over courses such as art and music. I would rather choose physical education as it is beneficial in keeping us healthy and I love physical exercise over music and art. Therefore, if a school does not have enough of findings, it is always a good decision to remove art and music courses but not physical exercises.
