The graphs illustrate the process of a headland becoming eroded in a coastal area. The general overview here is that the process follows several natural steps without any affections of human being.
To specify, in the first stage, abraded rock was seen in the weak area at the bottom of the headland. In the next step, the abrasion has extended, which leads to the arch cave, such as Durdle Door or Dorset.
