Describe how solar radiation can be utilised to rpovide domestic hot water and lightening
The solar radiation can be converted in two different domestic forms of final energy, the first one is electricity, second one is the energy from which we can warm up disposable water.
This process begins with the energy provided by the sun that has to be gathered in a collector from which it can reach photovoltaic cells to produce electricity or it can reach a heat exchanger to be converted in heat and give hot water. This step is dependent on the amount of sunlight that can be collected by the machines.
The second step is the integration of the solar energy previously gathered in accumulators (giving electricity) or in water tanks (giving hot water), the so called secondary circuits.
The final output of this process is in the domestic use of electricity lightening up our lights, and in the tap water coming out of the taps in our buildings.
