You are going to another country for a holiday. Write a letter to your friend who lives there and say
- When are you going?
- What do you plan to do there?
- Ask for suggestions about places to visit.
Dear James,
How are you? Hope you are doing well. The main reason for writing to you now is to inform you that I am planning for 1 week vacation in your country in the month of August, probably the last week.
My main objective to come to Australia was to meet you and your family, because as far as I remember we had met almost 2 years before in a party of Mr Dave on the Christmas Eve. In addition I would like to do some sightseeing and get familiar about the jobs that are mainly popular in Melbourne. As you are aware, since last year I had been trying for a Permanent residency in Australia, but unfortunately, the things are not going as per my plan, so may be based on my visit I can decide whether I should still go with my plan or need to think about something else.
As you had been staying for almost 10 years in Australia, I need to seek your advice on some of the popular tourist places that I can visit as my stay is for short time. Moreover, what are the possible eating options for the vegetarian person like me?
I look forward to hearing from you soon. Bye for now.
Regards
Michael
