In the reading, the article talks about consistency bias. When people are asked about their previous opinion, they tend to response with their current idea. This occurs quite often when people even don’t realize of it. It helps reduce the feeling of people about the inconsistency of their preference. In the listening, the professor uses his own example to illustrate the aspect. The brother of the professor is a mathematics teacher in a university, and he doesn't like his principal, so he always reports negatively. However, the principal make some good policies, and brought some new computer to the students. So he change his idea and make thinks the principal a good leader. And when he is asked about his previous opinion of the principal, he always sticks to the current ideas, and even doesn’t notice the change in his attitude.
