The maps show the developments that occurred in Youngsville in New Zealand during a period of 25 years between 1980 and 2005.
It is clear from the maps that the biggest change that happened in Youngsville in New Zealand was the disappearance of most of the trees. Additionally, numerous skyscrapers and warehouses were built in 2005.
To the north of the river Alanah, most of the trees around the lake were cut down in 2005. There were residential houses in the west of the area, but those houses were replaced by a stadium and a car park. The hospital was located in the south-east of the area whereas, a new Maria was constructed close to the railway station
To the south of the river Alanah, all trees were chopped down to make way for warehouses and skyscrapers. The airport and the car park were situated in the south-east of the area and still existed in 2005. The railway line was extended to the north of the river Alanah. Residential houses were destroyed in 2005, while the school to the south of the river still remained
