The given bar illustrates how many minutes(in billion) of telephone calls considered of three types in United Kingdom, from 1995-2002.
Overall, the local fixed lines calls were popular over the 8 years. With International calls and mobiles calls second and third respectively. The numbers of 70 minutes spent by local calls in 1995. After that local calls increased continuously till the 1999. After that it decreased gradually and reached at again 70 billions minutes. Secondly, the numbers of minutes spent on international and national calls increased significantly and reached at 60 minutes in 2002. With mobile calls minutes increased dramatically and touched nearby 45 minutes.
The international and national calls increased steadily year on year with just under 40 billions in 1995 to peak of over 60 billions minutes in 2002. In 1995 to 1996, the number of minute spent under 10 by mobile calls user. While the figure doubled form approximately 22 minutes in 2000 to 40 billion in 2001.
In conclusion, in eight years of period form 1995 to 2002, the local calls remained highest among three calls in UK. Second thing, the mobile calls users increased after 2000.
