Today, intelligence is governed by the individuals progress in school/college via his qualification status. Intelligence alone is not enough for a person to get a job for a particular position. Other qualities such as integrity, honesty are also considered by the organization in selecting a person for a particular post. If a person has appropriate skills and is intelligent, he is better able to analyse, understand the problem at hand and take correct decisions while executing the necessary role.
An individual should have relevant experience in the respective field in order to qualify for a position. For example, a scientist cannot be given the position of Prime minister or President merely on the basis of his intelligence in field of science. He should also have leadership qualities, knowledge in other fields to be eligible for this post.
Human being has invented computers, gadgets which crosses human ability in calculating complex problems. However, this intelligence of computers must not be misconstrued. Computers may be able to solve complex problems within seconds however, if there is a human error in feeding data, this intelligence of computers in solving the same complex problem can turn out to be a disaster.
Hence intelligence cannot be solely trusted. In addition to intelligence, other factors also play a role in determining individual’s ability.
