The pie chart represents the primary reasons that people came to and left UK in the year 2007. At a first glance it is clear that main factor that influences people was employment.
Having a definite job accounted for 30 % in case of immigration to UK and very similar is in case of emigration which is accounted for 29 %. Noticeably 22% of people emigrated from UK were looking for work, though the proportion of people entering UK for the same purpose was noticeably lower. Another major factor which people describe reason behind migrating to UK is formal education; considerably handful of people emigrated from UK for same is only 4%.
Almost same %age of people either immigrates or emigrates to UK for joining their families. Although a significant number of people 32% gave other reasons or did not give a reason why they emigrated, this accounted for only 17% with regards to immigration.
