Increase from 20000 dollars in 1970, increasing demand for cotton leaded to rapid climb in the production reaching to a plan point of 90000 dollars in 1990. The following 10 years saw considerable decline in this figure. Production of corn and sugar were comparable during the first decade making 30 and 25 thousand dollars respectively.
