why people wants to be a civil servants

In my opinion civil servants is the most favorite job in this country, it is seen from every years, more than one million people apply to vacancy of civil servants. Based in my experience, I have a reason why people wants to be a civil servants and ironically only a few people has patriotic reason such as want to devote themselves to the country and want to practice they knowledge for a prosperity crowd. I am incline to believe that a reason why people wants to be a civil servants are because they want to have a social security, fixed income, and get a more facilities.

In this era, I am realized that, it is impossible to be have guaranty job, if I not hard work and not people wants to be a civil servants expand the best ability. But it is only be valid to private sector workers. when I be a civil servants, I never worry if someday I was fired because of my bad performance. It is because civil servants in this country never be fired if they do not have big cases such as corruption, criminal and morality scandal.

Second reason why people wants to be a civil servants is they want to get fixed income. It is different pay system between work in private company and work in government office. when I work in private company it is possible my income is reduce, it is because I must pay insurance, pension, and cost transportation. But when I work in government office, it is impossible my income reduce, it is because I get many of allowance such as health allowance, profession allowance, transportation allowance, pension allowance, until communication allowance.

And the last reason why people wants to be a civil servants is they want to get more facilities such as home office, car office, and easy bank lending. Based in my experience civil servant can easy if they wan to borrow money in the bank. They just mortgage theirs identity, and bank will give money to them. It is because they still have income even though they do not work again.

However I try to positive thinking and always pray that Indonesia has many youngest and candidate of civil servants has a good people, honest, achievement, and want to build this country. Not only think about security live, money and welfare but also think about how to try can be useful for an Indonesia nation.
