Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Actions speak louder than words.
Use specific reasons and examples to support your response.
Words usually express our opinions and emotions but actions mostly show our reactions toward different issues. We might make many promises in word but in action we might break them easily and we might not be a man of promise. Therefor I deeply and genuinely agree that “actions speak louder than words.”
Firstly, as I've experienced in many cases, people usually don’t act as they say. Absolutely it’s really easy to say everything and claim about different issues but it’s not that that easy to do what we say. We usually have many ideal and acceptable opinions in our mind but when it comes to action, we don’t act as we've claimed before or as we've been expected. For instance I've experienced that many of my friends claim that I can always count on them if I have a problem but when there’s a problem, only some of them are really beside me, the ones who spare no effort to help me.
If someone wants to prove something, then he has to take actions to prove it; he can’t do it only by expressing. For example if you want to show people that you love them you have to prove it by caring for them and paying attention to them and prove it in different ways.
Moreover, I truly believe that people are evaluated by their actions rather their words. However it’s important for us to pay attention to our words because words also show our etiquette and propriety, but I think that our behaviors and actions are more demonstrators of our personality and character.
To put it in a nutshell, my final verdict is that our actions are more representative of our personality and we’re judged by our action and behavior rather than our words.
