THE GRAPH BELOW SHOWS THE POLLUTION LEVELS IN LONDON BETWEEN 1600 AND 2000

The line graph gives us information about the amount of Sulphur dioxide and smoke measured in micrograms per cubic meter that causes pollution in London from year 1600 to 2000. Overall, it can be seen that in year 1600 Sulphur dioxide and smoke has similar trend which started on a low level then suddenly rose and peaked in 1700 but fluctuated hardly until it reached at its lowest point in year 2000.
It is interesting to see that sulfur dioxide started in a baseline measurement of more than one micrograms per cubic meter and suddenly moved its way up until it reached its peak in 1700s measuring more than 750 micrograms per cubic meter. It then fluctuated between the year 1750 and able to rise again by about 1000 micrograms per cubic metre in the year 1850s but experienced a sudden fluctuating drop until it reached 0 in year 2000 respectively.
On the other hand, the amount of smoke that caused pollution in London is not that high when compared to Sulphur dioxide although they both have similar trend. It started to rise slightly in small amount between years 1600 to 1850 and reached its peak measuring approximately 500 micrograms of smoke per cubic metre in year 1900. It then experienced a sudden fluctuating drop in mid 1900s until it reached zero in year 2000.
