Inhabitant who use public transport like train or bus also share a car travel with more than one person are the biggest distance on average 23 or 24 miles, while cyclist and walker have 4 miles for the shortest journey. By comparison, car driver in one person inside have 17 miles on averages.
People travelling on trains and buses spend the longest time commuting to work because it take them 49 minutes on averages. Pedestrians and cyclists take the least time, because they get to work in around 20 minutes.
Cars get the fastest way of travelling. People going together by a car have an average speed of 34 mph and people driving alone have an average of 31 mph. walking have the slowest average speed in 3 mph.
In a nutshell, a car is the quickest way to travel for long distance, but for the short distance, walking and cycling is the best way to travelling to work in one US city.
