you were on a pleasant trip and had rented a flat from your friend who was on an holiday. Write a letter to your friend and in your letter writ him:
>how you felt about the trip and
>how did you take care of his house in his absence.
Dear Rachna,
How are you?
I hope this letter finds you well and your holidays would be gone enjoyable as I had.
I am writing this letter just to thank you for helping me on my trip at London by giving your flat for 10 days.
It was a pleasurable holiday. It would be more jovial if you joined us with your family. Anyways, I agree that you had already booked your tickets for Canada. Moreover, I would say that your house is neatly arranged and what I liked the most was, the rays of the rising sun entered into the guest room. As a result, effortlessly we were getting a good amount of vitamin D in every morning which made us all day energetic and active.
I also want to include that I had been done my best to keep the house neat and clean. My wife used to vacuum daily because she was keen to keep house spotless. I was surprised to see that my kids always played in the garden instead the living room as they did in our home which resulted that all home appliances were safe.
I wish that we could meet again at my home and we would spend next holidays together.
With best wishes.
Your friend,
Suman
