You rented a car recently, but were not satisfied with it.
Write a letter of complaint to the rental agency. In your letter
• Introduce yourself
• Explain what went wrong with the car you rented
• Ask for some form of compensation.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my satisfaction with a car that I rented two weeks ago. I rented a Ford sedan, plates no. ZOZ-694, for one week, starting from the 3rd to the 10th of April 2018.
I was supposed to receive a car with great mechanical condition. Unfortunately, that never happened. Firstly, the air conditioning system didn’t work as desired. Although the weather was so hot, I chose to open the windows rather than switching it on. As the results were both the same. Secondly there were two holes in the rear left tire, that didn’t keep the air from escaping. As a result, I went to the tire repair shop and paid 30 dollars. Finally, I regret to inform you that your service was below my expectations.
I believe this matter deserves your urgent attention, hoping you can settle it by refunding at least 50% of the rental charges that I had paid to your agency.
Looking forward to hearing from you
Yours faithfully
John.
