Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to put an official complain about the noise which is created by the road maintenance team on North Road just outside my house.
My name is Ayoub. I have been a resident over 10 years on North Road, and I have never had reason to complain to the council before. When the construction work started on the street closest to my house, a lot of noises are being created from the excavation and back-filling activities which are ongoing daily.
However, the area is known as residential with huge population, the project team work in two shifts. People who live in the vicinity and I suffer from the noise at night, and it is extremely difficult to have a peaceful sleep. Thus, we got very stressed and our performance at work got effected. In addition to that our children cannot concentrate on their studies at home.
I know that a certain noise level is identified for the residential area, and it should be adhered by any contractor. Therefore, I would request that you send your surveyors to inspect the sound`s level of the work at site and ensure that it is being maintained from the project team.
