In some classes, course grades are based solely on exams, while in other classes, grades are based more on class participation than exams. Which type of grading do you prefer? Use specific reasons to support your response.
The grading system is different from course to course and it depends on the professor to choose the appropriate method. Although many people would argue that grading has to be dependent only on the exam paper, I think that the student’s participation of has a far greater impact. I feel this way for two main reasons, which are understanding the concept well and getting a high grade.
First of all, students can understand the concept well by getting involved more in the class because during lecture one can ask his/her question from the professor. In addition to that when someone studies only from a textbook he/she may get half of the concept in order to get all of the concepts they have to attend for professor explanation in the lecture. Back to my school time, I had a friend and we were studying and discussing the studying material after the lecture or sometimes revising for exams. I was very good at explaining a concept and expressing some ideas out of the textbook because I was participating in the lecture and sometimes asking questions whenever I confused at some points. On the other hand, my friend was so weak in defining the concept because he was missing some classes though he was studying too much. Then I realized how important it is to be present in the class and take notes from the instructor lecture. That is why I stated that being present in the lecture is an important factor in learning a knowledge in a better way.
Secondly, participating in the class is beneficial for students to understand a topic completely because studying only from the textbook is not useful and essay. For those who want to get high grades, they have to attend the professor lecture. For example, when I was in college some of my friends were complaining about their low grades. Later I understood that they are not coming properly to the lecture because the professor grading was merely based on the exam. On the other hand, I was attending the lecture to learn and note down the essential points from the lesson and at the end my result was great. After that, I included that giving points only from is exam paper is not useful, but harmful for student’s future and actually it might cause negative consequences and the students would not be able to do well in the exams.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that the grading system does not have to be dependent on the exam sheet at all instead there should be a combination of both parts of grade from class activities and other parts of grade from test papers. Being present in the lecture of the professor has many benefits which are understanding the concept well plus getting high grades.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
