The text discusses an advertising tactic which is called Buzzing, and explains how this tactic can be bad for society and consumers. On the other hand, the lecturer who is a part time buzzer states that claims of the text is misleading, and provides some reasons to support the tactic of buzzing.
First, the text states that it is consumer's right to know if a person is a buzzer, and is paid to advertise the product. It adds that if the people know this point, they will not believe everything they hear easily, because they do not expect to hear the truth of a person who is a buzzer. The lecturer refutes this point and says that people will not accept all they hear as a truth. He also states that those people who do buzzing have actually used the product before, and because they liked the product try to buzz it. As the lecturer, for this reason we can not say that they are just some paid individuals to say something unreal.
Second, the text claims that when people do not know that the person who is talking to them is a buzzer, they will listen less critically, and may accept the claims made by the buzzer easier. The lecturer goes against this point and states that it is not true to say that people will believe everything that buzzer tells them. We can also hear from him that people will always ask lots of questions like the price or services of the product, and if the buzzer do not know all the answers, people will not believe and trust him.
Third, the text claims that buzzing is harmful for social relationships, and when people realized some of the people who talked to them were buzzer, they will not trust others anymore. The lecturer rejects this claim and states that buzzers do this job because they were satisfied by the product, and want to help others to feel the same. He also adds that when people buy the product and feel that how much it is good, they feel good and truth other people more.
