Essay topics:

summerise the points made in the lecture, being sure to explain how they cast doubt on the specific point made in the reading passage.

In this set of materials, the reading section explains the ways that we can use in order to make birds avoid to collide windows of towers and the writer illustrates some solution to this problem, and, the listening section cast doubt on information presented in the passage, and, argues that all of the solutions are not useful because some problem which he introduces them in the listening section.
First, the passage points out that architectures can use one-way glass in buildings. However, the lecture makes the point that this solution is not suitable because one-way glass similar to mirror and reflects the image of outside on glass, therefore, birds collide with glass and they harm, for instance, this kind of glass reflects the image of trees on the glass.
Second, according to the text we can use painted glass for our building, the speaker disagrees with this point, and, asserts that using this kind of glass makes dark in the building and people open the window and another side of the glass operate similar to the mirror, therefore this solution is inutile too.
Third, the article claims that architectures can use the magnetic field in building so as to run away birds. on the contrary, the lecture point outs that birds use a magnetic sense to emigrate. although birds can sense the magnetic field of Earth, they don't use it for a short trip. therefore this theory is not convenient because they use it only for migration.
In conclusion, the talk bolster, the mentioned pieces of information in the passage.
