The two charts show how employment is divided in Tanzania and Ireland
The two charts demonstrate the rates of employment in Tanzania and Ireland in, 1999.
While the greatest sector in Ireland was services, the one in Tanzania was agriculture. The energy and water sector in Ireland did not Tanzania in that year.
The sector with the greatest difference between the two countries was agriculture. Most of the Tanzania people were employed on farms. However, the rate of people working in this field in Ireland was significantly low. On the other hand, in Ireland services had the highest proportion of employees. This rate was almost five times as much as the rate of workers in services in Tanzania. (14%)
Both the ratios of Manufacturing and construction in Ireland were higher than those of the sectors in Tanzania. Under a quarter of the Irish population worked in factories whereas the rate in Tanzania was much smaller. The difference of construction rates, however, was little in two countries. In Tanzania construction had the smallest percentage. In Ireland, it was energy, though.
