In 2005, number of zebra at about 55 is more 20 than number of buffalo. It was different numbers in the 2007s which the number of buffalo increased at 80 and zebras increased at 75. However, the number of buffalo sharply increased more than zebra has.
During the same period, annual rainfall to increase from 650 mm in 2005 to 1200 mm in 2011, except in 2009 which there was a little rain, at about 70 mm. The highest annual rainfall was in 2011, at 1200 mm.
Overall, the number of animals, especially, zebra and buffalo tended to go up. It was because they have enough food in their habitats. However, in 2009, number of zebra was dropped and it was followed by declining the annual rainfall. It means the more rainfall in Nboro Nature Reserve, the more zebra’s feeding and went up the number of colonies.
