This situation contrasted obviously with Australian cinemas which shown these two film categories only about 5 and less than 5 percent respectively, but preferred films from other nations with 18 percent, while UK cinemas left screens for this last movie type only less than 5 percent.

Regarding admission record chart, in UK the trend of ticket selling was seem fluctuate but increased in overview, started with 100 million in 1975 before dropped to approximate 60 million in 1985. Thereafter, the trend recovered and rose up considerably and broke through 160 million in 2005.
