The diagram illustrates the process of producing electricity from geothermal energy.
Overall, it can be seen that there are five main stages of the process, and the primary material used is water.
In the first stage of manufacturing electricity, a vast amount of water is stored in a tank. The water is then pumped down under the ground, with the depth of 4.5 kilometers. Once it reached the injection well, the cold water keeps flowing through the geothermal zone, where hot rocks are used to raise the temperature of the water.
After being transformed into heated water, the liquid is pumped up from the production well into a condenser, where hot water evaporates to form steam. Subsequently, the steam is used to initiate the rotation of a turbine. The turbine provides power for the generator with the aim of manufacturing electricity in the final step. The resulting electricity is transferred to the electrical grid /tower for widely usage afterwards.
