Additional Science Course Requirement
As part of the university’s efforts to ensure that undergraduates receive a well-rounded and complete education, all incoming students and current freshman will need to complete one new science course requirement in order to graduate. Affected students can find out what courses fulfill this requirement by checking any campus bulletin board or by speaking with their advisors. The administration feels that the change will also benefit students by increasing the number who will choose a career in science or engineering. This will help create a more diverse student body, which is currently composed largely of history and English majors.
