Nowadays, running own business is very popular among people. It is a fact that today’s youth would prefer to run their business rather than work for an employer after graduating university. They are not much interested in being employed for another company. I agree with this opinion, but we need to remember that running a company does nor suit everybody.

There are several advantages of setting up your own business. First, it gives you freedom in your decisions. You can choose the method of management, set the goals for the business yourself. You will not be stressed about your boss, that he will not agree with your decisions or will not satisfied with your job.

Another benefit of this type of business is financial aspect. If everything goes well, you will earn more than if you work for someone else. You will not only depend on salary. If there are opportunities to enlarge your business, you do not need anyone’s permission to implement. You will be more motivated to work hard, in order to make a success of your company.

On the other hand, there are some disadvantages, such as being risky. If there is an economic downturn or you make mistakes in your business decisions, your company can go bust, which can mean you lose everything. Also, it is a major responsibility to employ many people, and you must not do anything which would put people’s jobs at risk.

In conclusion, although there are some disadvantages of running your own business, I think that the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.
