Air transport has become rapidly popular all over the world. This essay will firstly discuss its merit as a fastest and safest mode of transport and its demerits as it is expensive and not easily accessible at all places and how its merits outweigh the demerits of air transport
To embark with, the only quickest mode of transport to travel from one place to another is by travelling through air mode. For instance in order to travel from Mumbai to delhi it generally takes more than 24 hours if travel by road or by rail but it does not take more than 3 hours if travelled by an air mode. Moreover it is also the safest mode to commute than any other mode.as in recent study it has been shown air mode has most less number of accidents than compare through any other mode of transport.
However, it is not affordable to each and every person. It is an expensive mode to travel from one place to another. For instance, the ticket cost to travel by air is more than 2500 rupees whereas by railway it just cost around 750 rupees. furthermore, this mode is not easily accessible at all places. to illustrate air mode is just available at only some metropolitan cities and not in small cities and towns
To conclude, though it is really expensive and not available at all places but its merit to commute faster from one place to another and comparing the safety of a traveller while travelling its merits outweigh the demerits
