The bar graph provides information about the figure for imprisonment in Great Britain (UK), Australia, New Zealand, US, and Canada around 1930 until 1980. Overall, it gives figure in five countries and clearly shown that the prisoners in United States (USA) and Canada was fairly equal. However, it was fluctuated increased significantly in fifty years.
According to the chart, the highest number of imprisonment among others countries was USA in1980, almost 140, more than a half with Canada in the same year as the second higher. Canada was peaked at 1930, it was 120 prisoners. Meanwhile, UK, Australia, and New Zealand had similar volume in 1940 to 1960, especially in 1970 they were totally equal. Yet, it can be seen that Australia and New Zealand was risen in 1930, but plunged in the next decade around 1940 to 1970. in 1980, UK and New Zealand were significant increased higher than Australia, and followed by the figure of Canada detention.
