Learning about the past has no value for those of us living in the present. Do you agree or disagree? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
“History repeats”; said by pensive, who narrated history to get lesson from its course. This statement comes true for whole generations without any exception. Everybody can remember his/her childhood passed by so many questions about future while, at that very time, adults had their response. Although, for some, learning about the past has not value since they live in the present, for others, such meaning worth to ponder. By comparison, which group will be beneficial more? In my reckoning, the former group overweighs the latter due to diverse experiences concealed in descendant’s mind and creativity on which people can have better lifestyle.
To begin with, not repeating history is the key reason for reading history texts in present time. Maybe, it does not less occur for most that parents rely on educating of children persistently; “sit down and read your courses”; father used to say that; however, this question never asked that, “Such persist for what”? The answer was not too complicated. Parents had bad experiences about his wrongs; therefore, father like every sympathetic parent long progressing for their children. Consequently, learning about experiences takes splendid property into account for who live in present.
Additionally, creativity that once was thought to characterize IQ of persons its existence is extremely determined in lifestyle. Just imagine; if all persons lived similar to each other, how life would become boring; “Ridiculous life”; said by who got depressed by such living. Studying what passed over descendant; lessoning their wrongs and experiences; and not repeating their ways, all can increase the creativity on which life can form in variety shapes; “lost ring for better lifestyle”.
All in all, I contended that creativity for better living and familiarity with before generation both are bonus of learning history for who live in present time. If fresh generation utilize from what elder spent, they will live by much more efficiency than who waste their age by test-and- tied method. Isn’t that what you think, right?
